Waging War On Woke
<p>Being “woke” is a term which has been used more recently. Besides the normal definition of being awake, it means to be alert to and concerned about social injustice and discrimination.</p>
<p>There are people concerned with civil rights and racism who want people to be more woke. They want issues such as slavery to be taught more completely in schools so that children will learn about the social injustice and discrimination faced by Black people over the years.</p>
