Exploring Taipei Grand Trail Section 3
<p>If you were to ask me which section of the Taipei Grand Trail is the most worth visiting, I would say it has to be section 3. This section boasts the most beautiful and diverse views, including multi-faceted volcanic craters in Xiaoyoukeng, Taipei’s highest point Qixing mountain, stunning grasslands, water buffaloes in Qingtiangang, and dark forests.</p>
<p>However, due to some unfortunate accidents, this was also the most terrifying journey for me.</p>
<p>If we look at the topography, we may think it is not a very difficult trail, but the beginning part of the trail was actually a bit harsh. In addition, there was a smell of sulfur that made me pretty uncomfortable, and I felt a lack of oxygen when starting the hike.</p>
