Taoism: The Philosophy That Changed My Life
<p>You wake up, agitated when the alarm clock starts making that noise.</p>
<p>You’re cranky because you’re late again. You might miss the bus, your boss will give you an earful, your grades might be falling all this while you’re scrolling social media and see</p>

<li>people getting married and moving to another city</li>
<li>friends getting jobs in MNCs and living in penthouses</li>
<li>old neighbors buying Mustangs</li>
</ul>
<p>The thought rushes back at you — “Is this it?”</p>
<p>Well, I was the same. Lacking in college, unemployed, and feeling days go by without doing anything.</p>
<p>I didn’t come across any book or article magically. I opened my laptop and on the blue screen I typed ‘Systems to change your life</p>
<p>I looked up Stoicism and Taoism. Believe me, back then I had heard of Stoicism by Taoism was new to me.</p>
<p>I began my search and the philosophies pulled me in. And here I am today</p>
<p>Working a job I love, among the people that make me happy all the while building a side business.</p>
<p>It did not happen in one day or in a month. It took time and patience (a whole lot of it)</p>
<h2>The beginning</h2>
<p>Taoism, also known as Daoism, emerged in ancient China around the 6th century BCE. Its origins are attributed to the philosopher Lao Tzu, whose name translates to “Old Master”.</p>
