<p>The increase in the displays of the ‘Blue Lives Matter’ slogan seems to coincide with the rise in protests of unarmed black and brown people killed by police. There have been so many instances where police have used deadly force unnecessarily against people in these communities that it started a movement called ‘Black Lives Matter’.</p>
