Square Pizza Was the Pinnacle of Grade-School Lunch
<p>Growing up in Northern California during the early 80s was cool. We had warm weather during the summer, plenty of sunshine, and nearby outdoor things to do all year. We had some of the best memories, growing up.</p>
<p><em>We also had the best cafeteria pizza in the world.</em></p>
<p>At least in our opinion. Not that I’d been a world traveler by the first grade. Most of my friends had never left Northern California. But that amazing grade-school pizza we’d have every Friday at lunchtime was one of the few things we looked forward to during our lengthy nine-month school year.</p>
