Spanish Steps in Rome, Italy. More French Then Spanish.

I counted 270 round trip, from the street level on the way to the top and back! Until a local policeman carabinieri stopped me. Actually, they could not catch up to me and just yelled at me to stop. I only giggled, like a school girl who was caught running by a principal. The only difference was, that those two Italian cops were young and cute, not like that ugly creep who would stare at my cleavage every time he talked to me.

I would not even minded being arrested if I had known they would take me to their Stazione di Polizia. Oh well, just a little fantasy of mine.

As I was running the stairs, I remembered Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in their movie Roman Holiday and Matt Damon in the film Talented Mr. Ripley. This is how Spanish Stairs became famous in the USA, by watching the movies.

Visit Now
