Reality of Realty: 3 Things I’ve Learned When Becoming a Real Estate Agent

<p>I didn&rsquo;t grow up thinking &ldquo;I want to be a real estate agent.&rdquo; I was urged into this industry when I kept asking questions about real estate investing. A friend suggested, as a method to save money in my real estate transactions, why not become your own agent? The thought never occurred to me if I&rsquo;m being honest. I&rsquo;m a marketer, not a sales person, or so I thought. However, it was the marketing elements of real estate that appealed to me and so I began the journey to learn more. I asked for recommendations for real estate schools and ultimately selected The CE Shop. I had a plan to finish the online training in three months, then work part-time in real estate to learn as much as I could. Once I took the test, the real work began.
