Practice Listening!

A friend of mine recently had some serious issues within her home.

Her daughter, who suffered from a mental illness, was suffering and causing the entire household to suffer along with her.

My friend’s daughter was of legal age and was refusing treatment of any kind. She had been fired from her job. She had no money so was asking her mother for money and to use her car.

There was nothing more my friend could do to help the situation which was deteriorating into a stand-off with cursing, yelling, and out of control behavior.

My friend, although a believer in Jesus, was not in the habit of going to God’s Word daily to seek and find direction from Him.

Sure, she prayed. She knew that was the most powerful thing she could do for her daughter and her entire household. Yet she didn’t hear from God because she was NOT in the habit of listening to Him.

Visit Now
