My First 10 Years of Programming

As a curious boy armed with a new laptop and a passion for being the next Mark Zuckerberg, I started my university life and jumped into the vast realm of programming and technology in 2013.

I can’t believe that there have been 10 years passed on already.

These 10 years are not measured solely by my older face, but by the problems I solved, the software I built, the projects I managed, the articles I wrote, the moments I embraced, the dreams I pursued, the impact (if there’s any) I left behind, and of course the lovely people I met and worked with. It shaped not only my career but also the very essence of my being.

I still remember the first ever “Hello, world!” printed on my laptop’s terminal, my internship in Beijing, my first full-time job in the UK, the first technical article I wrote on Medium, and all the exciting milestones that happened within these ten years.

2013: Setting Sail with the C Programming Language

Like other boys and girls who just entered their university life, I was super excited but had no idea what I would do in the future.

Visit Now
