It would have been more courteous of Piers to allow the Dr to introduce his organisation – to explain to the audience what it stands for and what he primarily believes in. Instead Dr Wahid is thrown into an arena and immediately held responsible for the chanting of others as though Muslims must accept responsibility for the actions of every single Muslim. We see this line of thinking arise later.
