How to Succeed as a First-Year Attorney at a Big Law Firm
<p>You’ll work long nights and will always be on call from partners and senior associates. The stress can be extremely difficult. But that said, the monetary rewards are great, you’ll gain solid experience, and you’ll work with some insanely smart people.</p>
<p>I worked in Big Law for about two-and-a-half years before <a href="https://medium.com/@adampascarella/from-cynicism-to-optimism-how-to-get-started-as-a-solo-first-time-non-technical-entrepreneur-a6c82324b8f2" rel="noopener">leaving</a> for the world of startups. Looking back at my time in Big Law, there are some things I know now that I would have loved to have known before I became a first-year associate.</p>
