A Brief History of Murphy’s Law
<p>If you’ve ever had a bad day where nothing went right, you probably felt like God, other people, or the universe in general was conspiring against you. It’s also highly likely someone dismissed your protests by claiming Murphy’s Law.</p>
<p>That happened to me a lot. And, in my angst, I yelled back: “Who the heck is Murphy?”</p>
<p>Murphy’s Law is attributed to Captain Edward A. Murphy Jr., an aerospace engineer for the US Air Force, who served during the 1940s. This part we can be sure of.</p>
