Jungle Primaries
<p>I know, I know, you probably never thought the day would come when a white conservative governor from a Jim Crow state leads a hardline bunch of whites who used to slaughter black Americans voters in the liberal party in order to win elections compared himself to Martin Luther King, Jr. But oh my, the times they are a changin’ on the surface.</p>
<p>It used to be open hostility to black Americans in his state was shown by a fist, a gun, and rampant cheating in elections. Now the head of that party in the state that insurrected against the black vote for thirty years and conducted a literal Purge during election season so whites could kill, beat, or threat black American voters can take on the mantle of MLK, on MLK Day, to hide his state’s vicious past and <a href="https://lailluminator.com/2023/02/02/shreveport-pd-settles-suit-over-alleged-beating-of-black-man-for-supporting-black-lives-matter/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">still vicious present</a>.</p>
