How to have a budget Dubai & Abu Dhabi trip under $1000?

Dubai is a modern and state-of-the-art city located in the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf. It is popular for its sky-high buildings and structures.

I visited Dubai and Abu Dhabi in September 2018 for a 7D 6N trip. Booking flights was easy and UAE has a very easy to apply e-visa for most countries. If you already have a US Visa, you can even get a visa on arrival.

1. Book flight tickets

Tickets to Dubai are usually cheap if you book up to 2 months in advance. Return tickets are usually priced from $190-$250 depending on when you book them. It is always a good idea to take a direct flight since it is only 3 hours of fly time from West of India.

2. Accommodation

Dubai & Abu Dhabi are both pretty expensive when it comes to hotels. If you’re looking for cheap hotels, the ones near the airport are cheaper since they’re a little far off from the city. I would suggest staying in the main city (but not around Burj Khalifa since the hotels there have a higher rate) to reduce travelling time and cost. You can also divide your stay by staying near the airport for a few days and then staying in the main city for the rest.
