Corona Diary (December 22–28)
<p>I have just found out that on December 8th a 9-year-old kid died from Covid in Querétaro, Mexico.</p>
<p>This week was Christmas. It is a pretty big celebration in Mexico, normally including a lot of food and a lot of families. This time, it was only the part of a lot of food, as the majority of people stuck to hanging out with nuclear family and (I want to believe) took precautions within their gatherings. It is shocking to see how Covid is still not taken seriously by so many people, rather considered a conspiracy theory or a silly joke to be ignored. We had a small celebration, which was cozy, simple and special.</p>
