What Does the E. Jean Carroll Court Ruling Mean For Donald Trump’s Campaign?
<p>While it obviously doesn’t change what happened to her, I’m glad that she’s getting some semblance of justice and closure that she deserves, and I wish her nothing but all the best moving forward.</p>
<p>Obviously, I also can’t help wondering what this means for Donald Trump in the broad scheme of things moving forward. How is this going to effect his campaign, if at all?</p>
<p>Here’s the thing…the Republican base has told us exactly who they are enough times over the years for me to not even bother questioning that this will have little to no effect on the primary. If anything, it’s only going to help him. The base loves nothing more than their supposed alpha with a victim mentality, and this fits right into that. They want Trump to have a target on his back, and they’ll certainly feel he has been wronged.</p>
