At first, astrology masks itself as control: wanting to know a good time to ask for a raise, or to move house.
As a matter of fact, my interest in astrology also started with the pursuit of control. At the beginning, I wanted to know what was going to happen with my relationship. Eventually when that relationship ended, I wanted to know when the next one would come. During this time, I was also looking for a job, so I wanted to know when that would arrive at my doorstep.
It’s safe to say that I wanted a sense of control during a very uncertain time.
