The daily stand-up event is an essential component of the Scrum framework. Unfortunately, many people dislike it, and it can become a source of frustration for team members.

Although almost all teams conduct daily scrum, only a few teams adhere to the correct format, causing team members to feel as though it’s a waste of time and leaving participants unmotivated.

The reasons people dislike it?

The daily event is perhaps the most straightforward and well-known event, people (me included) usually refer to it as simply “daily,” and even those who don’t use Scrum have daily scrum events.

Most people work at least 8 hours a day, and even with the daily scrum lasting only 15 minutes the day, there are always numerous complaints about it.
