National elections are expected in 64 countries this year. Around 2 billion voters, or approximately a quarter of the world’s population, are expected to be heading to the polls this year, according to the Center for American Progress, a US policy institute. So, it’s not wrong to say this year elections are going to change the fate of the world. Are we ready for that?
