He/they is a native of the American South and practicing neo pagan with a Bachelor’s in psychology and a PhD in English. He has a life partner who is another man. They both have Dissociative Identity Disorder. His full bio is here. Their background is important because the novel takes place in Kentucky, involves neo pagan subculture, and contains psychological thriller elements. And, obviously, is a queer romance.

But is it primarily a romance? Certainly there are some romance tropes. For instance, there are many attractive people. It’s being sold as a romance. And yet the novel has so many other elements that I almost hesitate to describe it as a romance.
