A lot of the time, this means that I tend to go dark on people. As in, I just don’t have much time to actually chat. Or, if I do have time, I want to faceplant in my bed and not move for a bit.
My friends understand my situation because it’s been a rough year financially and I’m just beginning to crawl out of it. However, when I’m at home, it can be hard to get work done.
After all, almost all of my work is done at home — unless I’m out with my clients or fellow creatives helping me brainstorm for the week. At home, my cats, spouse, and occasionally my neighbors will ask for attention.
