Whenever there’s a highlight of a local restaurant in LA, it’s always an elegant, upscale location. Not that there’s anything wrong with elegant or upscale, but to put it eloquently, people wanna grub! Nine times out of 10, this high-class establishment was recommended by either a TV show on which it was featured, our local news anchors (lookin’ at you, KTLA) or a social media influencer. And if you’re like me and love to eat, there’s a good chance that it may not be the best experience. The food may not be to your liking, it’s expensive, and there is a strict dress code that one must adhere to. Honestly, there is always a time and place for dressing in formal attire; eating at a casual food spot is not one of them.
