ZAMM: Chapter 1 Summary.

We started exploring these roads years ago while on a vacation with my wife and friends. We occasionally took these roads for variety or as a shortcut to other highways and found these roads relaxing and are different from the main ones. The pace of life and personality of the people living along these roads are contrasting to the people who live in cities. These people are not too busy to be courteous. The here and nowness is what they know all about. This is something that the people who moved to cities years ago have forgotten.I think that the reason for this is because the people from the city conned themselves into thinking that the real action is in the cities while places like this are just boring hinterlands.
