My All-Time Favorite Geoscience Activity for Children in School
<p>Imagine it’s earth education time in Elementary School. Is that a week, a month, or the whole year? I don’t honestly know. But what I do know is that Geology and Geophysics are LEGIT fun! Let’s help these kids work on their sense of wonder, asking questions, critical thinking, and observation skills. Even if the kids don’t end up as a Geologist, the lessons we can take away from Geology are life-long skills that will help them succeed throughout life. Fundamentally we use the scientific method to make forward progress in our understanding.</p>
