Ranking All Sneakers in the Off-White x Nike “The Ten” Collaboration
<p>Virgil was given the power to work with ten of Nike’s most iconic sneakers and design them to his liking and the result was extraordinary. The collaboration began with just ten sneakers but due to the extreme popularity, it has now grown to a total of 35 pairs.</p>
<p>What Nike has done over the past year is truly genius as they have let many of the design elements from “The Ten” inform the design of countless GR silhouettes. I’m talking things like their judicious use of that transparent ripstop material, exposed foam tongues and deconstructed elements. This has all just been deliberate diffusion to capture a larger consumer audience. In this way, they maintain the perceived exclusivity of the originals while helping boost their overall sales by keeping things on-trend. (shoutout Matt from CSX for this paragraph)</p>
