A Wedding in Kashmir
<p>Wedding season is a very colorful season in whole South Asia. We have week-long wedding celebrations here. But weddings are not a banquet halls event in the mountains of Kashmir. Also, they are celebrated mostly in summer because in winter there is too much snow to do anything. They are still very personal in today’s modern world and carry the old traditions. I love everything about Kashmir, but wedding traditions are my most favorite.</p>
<p>I always feel that it’s more fun being on the bride’s side so I will explain events from the bride’s home. Also, I will only talk about Muslim weddings because I have not seen any other personally. But as long as I know all the traditions are almost the same except the Nikah part. So let me start the beautiful story of a traditional Kashmiri wedding.</p>
