A vacation — Part 7

Paris, mon amour (Paris, my love)

After a sad goodbye to La Giruadiere, Paul, and volunteers with whom I’d made bonds for life (shoutout to Tessa and her son John, David and his son Robert, Natalie, Reuben and his wife Pauline, Dr, Roy, Donna and her hubby Neil), I took the train back to Angouleme and onwards to Paris.

After arriving at the hostel, I checked into the mixed dormitory, the only one available at the time of booking, and started a conversation with one of the dorm mates- Alejandro, a Venezuelan living and working in Spain and on vacation in Paris. He was very kind, and we promised to sightsee together at some point.
