Vivienne Westwood ??? the working class, non-conforming, feminist disrupter

Vivienne Westwood passed away on the 29th of December 2022. A shock to not only the fashion world but society as a whole. When an icon as instrumental as Westwood appears in the world, it feels like they’ll be here forever. In a way, of course, her legacy is immortal but her passing still brought great sadness. Westwood has always been an inspiration to me, as way more than a fashion designer. She broke moulds that are still in place today for working-class girls in the North of England. A social disrupter and proud of it.
