Where Is The Yonder Valley Corpus Christi?
<p>For a year or so on Medium, I have made several posts of a particular nature on this very blog: <strong>Backyard Church</strong>.</p>
<p>I was not only looking for a place to blog about spiritual topics, but one that held to deconstructing faith for an audience tired of church. I had this idea: create caricatures of various types of churches.</p>
<p>But deconstruction only goes so far. We are so tired of bad churches. But isn’t there a good church?</p>
<p>In a way, Backyard Church has tried to provide that space for those who do not want to abandon faith completely, but want to feel validated in their experiences with sour church practice, church abuse, and religion bashing them to the ground.</p>
