Uber times 10: Witnessing San Francisco???s Technological Frontier

I had the chance to visit beautiful San Francisco for the first time in 2013. Back then I was working for a very cool startup called “Passban”. These guys had envisioned that having tons of passwords would start to be a problem for both individual and corporate users.

So the solution they came up with for the problem was a multi-factor authentication framework. The idea was that, instead of remembering hundreds of passwords, you could just use your face, voice or fingerprint for authentication.

Nowadays this is incorporated into the operating systems of phones and computers, but back in 2013 everything was to be done. After only 7 months of working, we got acquired by RSA, a big security firm, and the fairy tale began.
