Uber times 10: Witnessing San Francisco’s Technological Frontier

<p>I had the chance to visit beautiful San Francisco for the first time in 2013. Back then I was working for a very cool startup called &ldquo;Passban&rdquo;. These guys had envisioned that having tons of passwords would start to be a problem for both individual and corporate users.</p> <p>So the solution they came up with for the problem was a multi-factor authentication framework. The idea was that, instead of remembering hundreds of passwords, you could just use your face, voice or fingerprint for authentication.</p> <p>Nowadays this is incorporated into the operating systems of phones and computers, but back in 2013 everything was to be done.
