Two Days in Athens
<p>A week ago our summer holiday started. We planned it about three months ago, and as usual, we organized it with my sister’s family. We usually go to Greece, and stay for about 7–8 days at the Egean Sea. This year’s holiday was on the island of Evia. It is about 90 km north of Athens. So we decided before going there to stay one night in Athens, see Acropolis and go sightseeing in the central part of the capital.</p>
<p>To reach Athens, we drove 720 km from our home town. The road is okay, and it is nice that my husband is a professional driver. It means — I do not have to drive myself because I do not love driving outside the cities.</p>
<p>My first impression was the same as I had read about Athens — it was so crowded!</p>
