A short journey from Turin to Milan

February is probably not the most obvious time to visit North of Italy, but it has its perks in less crowded sightseeing spots, St Valentine’s flair, and discount season. We booked tickets (technically, we rebooked canceled tickets from October to the February holidays). The first three days we ended up in laid-back, cinematic, and chilled-out Turin. Then with a short train journey to Milan, we spent the sunniest days of February in luxurious, expensive, and proud Milan. Planning this itinerary has given me a few insights I could use for planning my next trips, like if you are not satisfied with the accommodation process a few months before traveling, it’s okay to check Airbnbs and bookingkom suggestions from time to time (although, even app and browsers may be different in prices).
