That time in Bangkok
<p>More than a decade ago, I went to Thailand. It was an amazing trip! But I will never get over the airports there. So let me tell you a story.</p>
<p>We were on a four week tour of the country. It involved six different domestic flights within the country. Most of these were simple and smooth short jaunts. But one flight, we landed on the tarmac in Bangkok. We didn’t have a gate that we were going to. The plane just parked and a set of stairs was rolled up to the door. So we deplane and are on the tarmac wondering where to go. I can see a small road and a door into the airport a short walk away. I’m thinking about walking there when a shuttle bus drives along the road, pulls over and onto the tarmac in front of us and we’re loaded onto the bus.</p>
