The ChatGPT of Robotics has arrived… And it’s very scary.

In the aesthetic design of products, simplicity is often viewed as the pinnacle of sophistication.

So when one peels back the layers to understand an incredibly intricate technology like RoboCat, one should be aiming for simplicity in understanding, but appreciation for the depth of innovation.

An artifact, a creation, which resonates with the vision of our future. Just as with my many design narratives, I would like to introduce you to RoboCat not just as a tech breakthrough, but as a piece of design genius.

RoboCat, as introduced, isn’t just another robotic entity. It embodies the philosophy of autonomy and self-reliance.

The beautiful and slightly haunting realization here is that, similar to the power that language models like ChatGPT harness, RoboCat possesses the ability to generate its own data, refine its abilities, and grow independent of human intervention.

I have made an open source implementation of Robocat to democratize this superintelligence ready for usage
