Taipei or Sydney — My second homes

To be brief, I used to favour the spoon-feeding style of education and learning. And it took me a very long time to adjust to the independent learning here in Australia. Speaking of which, the idea of spoon-feeding in Taiwan might have been different since I was last educated there. Compare the two cultures and educational systems, Taiwan is focused on fact-driven learning and Australia is focused on fostering tolerance towards different ethnicities. The reason why I feel the urge to address about my cultural identity is that I have a strong sense of belonging to both Australia and Taiwan. Most of my friends are either from Taiwan or mainland China.
