The Time I Went to Work with the Mayor of Taipei City, Dr. Ko Wen-je
<p>February 27, 2020. I was interning at the Taipei City Hall and followed him to the groundbreaking ceremony of a public housing community in Taipei City’s Zhongshan District.</p>
<p>Not gonna lie, I was a little bit nervous as we were going on the same car, and it turned out he sat right next to me. Plus the storm of reporters and photographers that we had to navigate through in the 20-meter walk from the car to the construction site.</p>
<p>But everything chill, Mayor Ko is an easy man to talk to, and when my Chinese couldn't cut it, he’d easily switch to English to get the conversation going.</p>
