STFU On Your One-Sided #RepresentationMatters
<p>This of course <em>still</em> leaves many feeling unseen. Underrepresented. Unappreciated. And grossly underestimated. Luckily today, we have the technological advances like the internet and social media to address that lack of representation, and put the powers-that-be on alert for looking us over out of their prejudice and overblown sense of entitlement.</p>
<p>Sadly though, when people feel underrepresented, the first to try drowning out the underrepresented are the most irrelevant, selfish, and therefore problematic. For they are the ones who <em>benefit</em> from that lack of representation, and don’t want to share. So in hopes of you being weak-minded enough to be desperate for their validation, they are the first to tell you how to look at the situation, and why you should settle for the whitewashing.</p>
