Retirement Life: Retirees That Need To Work
<p>With the news that Social Security will have only a 3.2% increase in 2024 and continuing high prices for practically everything, many retirees are starting to come back to the workforce. The only problem is that, despite labor shortages practically all over the country, employers show little interest in hiring retirees. Even Walmart is cutting back on hiring retired people. Walmart is a traditional employer of retirees. But I’ve noticed fewer retirees at local Walmarts, and there appear to no longer be door greeters. I’m trying to help three men who are desperate to find employment. So, I’m using all my contacts to help them.</p>
