The Snowflake Referendum, Angry White Men, and Getting Blocked
<p>I lived in New Zealand for four years and then in Australia for ten. There is more common sense, justice, and peace that emanates from Australasia. Neither country is perfect, that ideal doesn’t exist, but sanity prevails.</p>
<p>When I moved to Texas in 2017, I was astounded by the level of ignorance of some of its residents. I had thought that all the flag-waving-freedom-spouting-willfully-ignorant characters in the movies and TV shows I’d watched as a kid were merely an expression of artistic license, parodies of themselves for comedic value.</p>
<p>But, no. I found out that this just ain’t so.</p>
