Singin’ in the rain with Ricky and Lorraine

<p>Oh, what a night. I&rsquo;m not as much of a concert-goer as I ought to be. And I&rsquo;m not a fan of stadium gigs. But there are some opportunities you just can&rsquo;t turn down. And seeing Deacon Blue at Edinburgh Castle is definitely one of them.</p> <p>I&rsquo;ve only been to one concert there before. In a series perhaps ill-advisedly named Summer Nights back in 2004, I went to see James Taylor. Warm and sultry it wasn&rsquo;t but JT more than made up for it. And at least it was dry.</p> <p>So it was with a little trepidation that I watched the weather forecast unfold last week.
