Getting Your Bushes Trimmed at the Retirement Community

<p>We rent the land in our retirement community. We own our houses. It&rsquo;s easy to understand who is responsible for what. If a shingle is loose on my roof, that&rsquo;s my problem. If there is a pothole in my driveway, it&rsquo;s not.</p> <p>But there are some gray areas. Our homes have lawns, rhododendrons, arborvitae, and other bushes. Some of these were put in with the house, homeowners have added others. Who is responsible for what?</p> <p>Well, it&rsquo;s a retirement community. Some of us like to mow our lawns, but most of us don&rsquo;t, so the management mows them.
