I Finally Understand White Privilege

<p>I tend to live obliviously. When a war breaks out or major civil unrest happens, I’m the last to hear about it.</p>
<p>It’s not something I’m proud of, I’m just being honest.</p>
<p>I was born into a racist family — not the KKK or anything, but ugly comments were made now and then — comments I heard as a kid. Fortunately, the racism didn’t rub off on me. It always bothered me that my blood could harbor such ignorance and hatred.</p>
