Wan Lin: My Practice On Strategy
<p>I’m delighted to be here today to talk about strategy. I find strategy a bit difficult to explain, so I’d like to start by talking about my own experiences. If we were to talk about strategy purely in terms of methodology, you’d be better off reading a book, which would definitely be better than what I could say. What I can offer you is a perspective based on Cainiao’s own development process, the choices we’ve made, and the trade-offs we’ve had to make. I’ll share this with you in the context of Cainiao, and I hope it will give you a different perspective and help you see the parallels between your own experiences in business and the choices we’ve made.</p>
<p>I joined Cainiao in 2014, so I’ve experienced almost the entire journey of Cainiao from its inception to the present. I’d like to take a moment to briefly introduce you to Cainiao’s evolution from its birth to the present.</p>
