Another One Bites the Dust — Target Practice on Humans
<p>Americans may lament the passing of more people targeted as substitutes for beer bottles on stumps, but I suspect they get something out of the emotional roller coaster of other people’s misery.</p>
<p>Comedy and tragedy are two sides of the same coin. They both produce hormonal responses that break up otherwise monotonous routines.</p>
<p>People are absurd and do stupid things, and put up with stupid things, just because those things <em>are. </em>Once something exists, killing it just seems<em> wrong. </em>Even a bad idea.</p>
