Birding at Playa Borinquen , Aguadilla, PR 11/09/2019

Our 9 year old is birding enthusiast and we encourage it as this is good outdoors activity. We did one year of birding on California and I helped him to publish a book “Birds Around US” as a memoir of California birding. This is the best way he would remember what he did as a child at least in one specific field. In US mainland, Audubon Society Local Chapter and their volunteers are really helpful when you are new and don’t know the best birding places in the area. Unfortunately, Audubon does not have a presence in Puerto Rico. When we moved here this June 2019, I had really difficult time to find an organization that could provide us with the information about the places to go birding.
