This is the story of how my parrot Piku became an aristocrat in Amsterdam. (Part 2)

Our flying training with Piku was very exciting. I used to put my shoulder near the entrance of his house and let him climb on me. Then we go outside to the garden and observe the bluetit birds flying around. This was one of our ways to motivate him to lose his fear of heights.

Piku was super surprised the first time he discovered the rain. During one of our outside training sessions, it started to rain, and that’s how we introduced him to the first drops of rain he ever had. Apparently, he didn’t like it much to get wet. It didn’t take too long for his complaints to arrive.
