Sometimes It Takes a Power Outage to Illuminate What’s Really Important

<p>Tuesday nights are usually filled with picking up kids from sports practices and then weekly Zoom meetings with clients. However, Mother Nature didn&rsquo;t get the memo that we were busy. She had other plans for how my family would spend our evening.</p> <p>A few days ago, my area got close to a foot of snow. We had a fun day of sleigh riding but now the plows had gone through and the kids went back to school this morning. I thought that was it for a while.</p> <p>Well, I should have been paying a little closer attention to the weather today. My first clue should have been the cashier at the grocery store asking me if my kids were getting out early. What?
