Summary of the Changes to the NPPF (Dec 2023)

This <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-planning-policy-framework--2" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">NPPF </a>has received a recent update to reflect the Ministerial Statement made by Michael Gove at the end of last year. It builds on <a href="https://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ukgwa/20230929144819/https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-planning-policy-framework--2" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">previous version</a>s of the NPPF which are England’s statutory planning policies, to be read alongside other planning policy guidance, and — for planning decision takers — in the context of other material considerations.
