Summary of the Changes to the NPPF (Dec 2023)
<p>This <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-planning-policy-framework--2" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">NPPF </a>has received a recent update to reflect the Ministerial Statement made by Michael Gove at the end of last year. It builds on <a href="https://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ukgwa/20230929144819/https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-planning-policy-framework--2" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">previous version</a>s of the NPPF which are England’s statutory planning policies, to be read alongside other planning policy guidance, and — for planning decision takers — in the context of other material considerations. Before this version, the most recent update was in September 2023. This is for an audience of planners, and is not an introduction the NPPF.</p>
