TRUMP “NOSTALGIA”

Finally, the election is startlingly close. Most of us know how we will vote. What we don’t know is how we let it get this crazy. Yes, it sounds like a bad country-western song. We let the man cheat on us, pull a fast one on us. From the beginning, we should have believed what Melania purportedly said: “You know, if you run you will win.”

He could win again.

For me, nothing fuels the fear that it is too late to stop him than the faded notes I have from an obsolete Brother typewriter. They are from March 1990 when, pregnant with my younger so who is now 32, I went on a press tour of the Trump Princess. This over-the-top luxury yacht was put up for sale while docked in Hong Kong harbor. Trump could not afford to keep it. Trump was not there. But his yacht broker was. A nice man who now thanks to Trump may be the world’s most famous yacht broker.
