Napoléon and the Birth of Egyptology

With the recent release of the movie Napoléon, to depict France most ambitious, short (which is why the guy had a bad temper, i.e., “Napoléon complex”), and tunnel vision leader, it reopens the history of one of the most ancient human structures in the land of the Pharaohs, where Ra (the sun god) has always shown his light.

The unfortunate thing about the recent movie that came out is that it didn’t receive the best reviews, receiving maybe 2 or 3 stars at best for Rotten Tomatoes. I personally have not seen the movie myself due to the mixed reviews it received and the gossip that it is not as historically accurate as it could be, but nevertheless, the haughty emperor has left a profound mark on Egypt as a country and the birth of modern archaeology.
